Mass & Confession in Las Vegas

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the Sacrament of Reconciliation are at the heart of Catholic life. Whether you are a lifelong Catholic, returning after many years, visiting Las Vegas, or simply seeking peace and clarity, you are welcome.

The Holy Mass

At Mass, Catholics gather to worship God, to hear His Word proclaimed, and to receive Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. The Mass is not merely a community gathering—it is the re-presentation of Christ’s one sacrifice on the Cross, made present for us out of love.

Throughout the Las Vegas area, parishes offer Mass daily and on Sundays, including vigil Masses on Saturday evenings. Many parishes also offer Masses in Spanish and other languages. Visitors are always welcome, and no reservation or registration is required to attend.

If you are not Catholic or are unable to receive Holy Communion, you are still encouraged to attend Mass, pray, and experience the beauty of Catholic worship.

The Sacrament of Confession

The Sacrament of Reconciliation—also called Confession—is a profound encounter with the mercy of God. In this sacrament, Christ Himself forgives sins, heals wounds of the soul, and restores peace to the heart.

Confession is available regularly at most parishes, often on scheduled days each week or by appointment. Do not be afraid or ashamed to come, even if it has been many years. Priests are there to help, not to judge. God’s mercy is greater than any sin.

Finding a Parish

Las Vegas is home to many Catholic parishes throughout the valley. Each parish community has its own character, but all are united in the same faith, the same sacraments, and the same love for Christ and His Church.

If you are new to the area or visiting, we encourage you to look up a local parish to find current Mass and Confession times. Parish websites or the Diocese of Las Vegas website will have the most up-to-date schedules.

A Word of Welcome

No matter where you are in your faith journey—strong, struggling, curious, or searching—you are welcome in the Catholic Church. Christ invites all who are weary and burdened to come to Him. May your time at Mass and in Confession be a source of grace, healing, and renewed hope.
